About Us
The René Chronicles, located in Houston, Texas, is a web magazine providing original content and
analysis of public policy, news, incites, analysis and opinions, business,
and arts and culture. Particular interest well be given to the Caribbean.
The magazine will feature works, essays and criticism by authors,
writers and commentators bringing their unique voices to conversations about
the events changing and shaping our world.
Peter
Lyn René
has a Bachelors in Political Science and a Masters in Law and Public Policy,
and
is currently a candidate for a Doctor of Philosophy in Law and Public Policy
degree. He
has
an extensive background in Non-Profit Administration and Management, and
Information Technology Project Management.
He is a Consultant in Houston, Texas
and is a Mediator having completed courses in Basic Mediation and Advance
Family and Divorce Mediation in 2010;
René is certified to mediate cases in
the Justice of the Peace Courts, the County Courts, and the State District
Courts as well. He volunteers his
time mediating cases for the Harris County Dispute Resolution Center and has
successfully mediated dozens of cases.
He
is the Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of
The Caribbean
American Heritage Foundation of Texas
and The Singing
From The Soul Foundation, which are 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations.
He serves on the Executive Committee of the United Nations Council of
Organizations.
He has published articles in PA Times.
